We invite you to the national kick-off meeting under the name “Hearts and Minds for Ukraine” on Sunday 23rd February in Jaarbeurs Kinepolis. The doors open at 15:30. On this Sunday, the day before we reflect on the start of the large-scale brutal Russian invasion, we come together because together we are strong and resilient. We come together to give each other strength for Monday 24.2 where our thoughts go out to all who fought and fight for a free Ukraine, to loved ones who have passed away and our beautiful country.
Silent march
The silent march is led by young people and teenagers, carrying a luminous model of the legendary Mriya aircraft, a symbol of great aspirations and resilience. Each participant holds a candle, signifying that hope is an unquenchable light that guides us through the darkness. Young people are the future and carry in their hands and hearts the light that dispels the shadows. We invite everyone to join this silent march, to feel the power of unity, remembrance and belief in a better future. The silent march ends on Domplein with a heart of light, music and a short speech.
